Terms of Service for MyBodyQuest
Effective Date: October 24, 2026
Welcome to MyBodyQuest! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MyBodyQuest mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. The Service is operated by Dave Weizenegger ("we," "us," or "our").
1. Important Medical Disclaimer
MyBodyQuest is not a healthcare provider. The Service, including tracking tools, quests, and the AI Coach, is intended for general informational and fitness purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your physician or other qualified health provider before starting any new fitness or nutrition program, especially if you have pre-existing conditions.
2. Account Registration
To use certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for any purchases you make.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
MyBodyQuest offers a premium subscription tier providing access to advanced features, including the AI Coach.
Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually).
Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the applicable app store. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
Changes: We reserve the right to modify our subscription fees, but we will provide you with advance notice of any price changes.
4. AI Coach Usage and Limitations
Premium users have access to our AI-powered coaching feature.
Nature of AI: You understand that the AI Coach generates responses based on algorithms and patterns. While we strive for accuracy, the AI may occasionally produce incorrect, incomplete, or inappropriate information.
No Medical Advice: The AI Coach cannot diagnose injuries or prescribe medical treatments. You must use your own judgment and consult professionals when necessary.
Acceptable Use: You agree not to use the AI Coach to generate harmful, illegal, or sexually explicit content, or to attempt to reverse-engineer its underlying models.
5. Gamification and User Conduct
We want the MyBodyQuest community to be motivating and fair.
Fair Play: You agree not to manipulate, cheat, or artificially inflate your stats, badges, or leaderboard rankings using bots, emulators, or false data entry.
Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content and Abusive Users: MyBodyQuest has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You may not post, upload, or send content (including photos, captions, comments, usernames, profile information, and workout notes) that is harassing, bullying, threatening, hateful or discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, promotes self-harm or dangerous behavior, impersonates others, infringes others' rights, or is spam. Violating this rule may result in removal of the content and immediate suspension or termination of your account.
Reporting and Blocking: You can report any user, photo, comment, or workout from within the App using the "⋯" menu, and you can block any user so that you no longer see each other's content. We review reports within 24 hours and remove objectionable content and eject users who post it. You can also report concerns by emailing info@mybodyquest.com.
Account Action: We reserve the right to reset your score, remove badges, or suspend your account if we detect fraudulent activity.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, design, graphics, and code associated with MyBodyQuest, including the specific quests and badge designs, are the property of MyBodyQuest and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyBodyQuest and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service, your interactions with the AI Coach, or any physical injuries sustained while attempting fitness quests.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business interests.
